Think about…

When Mary received the news that she would be the mother of the Messiah, God's Chosen One, it was simultaneously thrilling and extremely difficult. She wasn't given a clear picture of all the details of God's plan and how it would affect her. She could face being rejected by her fiancé and everyone she knew in her little town. Even worse, they could stone her.

How is Mary’s reaction to what God was calling her to do like Jesus's prayer the night before he died (Luke 22:42)?

When you know God is calling you to do something, and you don't have all the answers or know how it will all play out, how do you respond?
